I can't think of a more important time for "Apostles and Markets" than today. Decision making in light of the common good and a moral world is essential for young people to understand. Pope Benedict's impromptu comments to the Synod of Bishops on October 6th comfirm the basis of Apostles and Markets. The Holy Father highlighted the foundation that the Word of God provides in the midst of difficult economic times. In this Pauline year, the words of the Apostle seem appropriate, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, and who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).
